Nick Annas is an award-winning actor, writer, and director based in Sydney. Beginning his career as a child actor, he grew up on set and, at 19, has been working for over a decade. He began his training with the Australian Theatre for Young People before being accepted into The McDonald College, one of Australia's leading performing arts schools, on a drama scholarship. He became Australia’s youngest published playwright and, by 14, had written his debut feature Herschel, earning recognition from The Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship.

His debut feature as writer/director, Crashout, is a Gen-Z satirical thriller set to begin production in early 2026. Umbrella Entertainment will handle theatrical distribution across Australia and New Zealand.
